Dear Jack:
You may recall a 2nd Opinion program for one of my clients, C. P., for her hypertension. Shortly after she went on her initial program, her husband contacted me regarding his elevated cholesterol and his doctor wanting to put him on Lipitor... He joined his wife on the program, diligently on the Pro-Vita! Plan and added exercise to his regime. In a recent email, included here, he writes about his results, and states that he never took the Lipitor (he told his doctor of his decision). What follows are his results, you gotta love it!
“Had my followup with my doctor yesterday for cholesterol. Three months ago it was 258...LDL was high..Trig were high..he gave me a prescription for Lipitor which i didn’t take...my weight then was 165 lbs. I changed my diet to Pro-Vita, exercised more, and now my weight is 149 lbs. My cholesterol went down to 219 and the LDL went down dramatically (can't remember the number). Dear Dr. Tips,
I heard you were teaching in Italy, so I didn’t expect to get a reply from you within seconds! Your point about heavy metal toxicity is well taken. I had not seen the numerous indicators throughout her case. I will order a urinary mercury test for Molly before deciding on a treatment plan.
BTW: Your recommendations from our prior communication were gems. The program for Tricia S. (the post polio syndrome case) has made a big difference in her cognitive ability and overall energy.
